Christa was raised in Pampa, Texas, graduating from Pampa High School in 1991. She went on to graduate from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO with a B.S. in Biology. Christa worked at Celanese Chemical plant for about 12 years before it shut down and moved operations. After moving to Hemphill County in 2008, she worked at Happy State Bank, Hemphill County- Texas A & M AgriLife Extension Service where she served as Office Manager while spending lots of time with both of her daughters doing all things 4-H and then moved to general manager of HCUWCD in November 2023.

Field Technician
2018 – current

Kaycee began her time as an intern with the District in September of 2017 and was then hired as the full-time field technician in October of 2018. Kaycee graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Water Science with an emphasis in Hydrology in May 2017. She grew up in South Central Kansas and moved to the Texas Panhandle in July 2017. Her husband, 2 daughters, and 2 dogs reside in Darrouzett.
